Spearhead the OMRT Hub stack and architect the future of how cities are designed and built.

Job description

OMRT is evolving. We are transitioning to a platform-first approach, fostering deep enterprise collaborations that are reshaping the real estate industry.

The Full-Stack Developer will spearhead the development and maintenance of the OMRT Hub platform, integrating data and 3D geometry scaled on the cloud to deliver innovative solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a challenging stack, combining data with 3D geometry, as we strive to build the definitive digital ecosystem for the real estate industry.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will work closely with the Hub team, including Back-End and Front-End Developers, and Product colleagues. This is an impactful role where you will take over responsibility for the entire Hub platform stack, ensuring it is enterprise-ready and continuously improving.

What you’ll do

As a Full-Stack Developer, you are the technical engine driving our client-facing platform. Your responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership - Drive technical design and architecture for the OMRT Hub platform.

  • Solution Engineering - Break down complex problems and decide on the best technical solutions, including the appropriate stack.

  • Roadmap Contribution - Participate in product roadmap discussions by providing technical assessments of proposed features.

  • Quality Assurance - Review and improve the code of your peers to maintain high standards.

  • Mentorship - Guide and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth.

  • Standard Setting - Set and uphold coding standards and best practices across the team.

Job requirements

Education and experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • An Advanced Degree - A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus, i.e., Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or Data.

  • 4–5 years experience in any industry.

  • International exposure - Experience working in an international environment within teams of 2–10 people is preferred.

  • Certifications - Relevant certifications in cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), or any relevant courses / bootcamps.

Skills

  • Software Engineering - Expertise in developing full-stack applications, including set-up of back-end, front-end, databases, and deployment.

  • Front-end & Back-end Proficiency - Strong skills in Vuejs, Vite, Pinia, Nodejs, ASP .NET C#, and Python.

  • Cloud & Containerisation - Deep knowledge of AWS services (Batch, EC2, S3, Cognito, Sagemaker, Lambda, Gateway) and Docker.

  • Data & Frameworks - Skilled in PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, and algorithm development.

  • Analytical Skills - Ability to analyse complex data and derive actionable insights

  • Communication skills - Effective in conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Problem Solving - Creative and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

Behaviour characteristics

  • Proactive & Innovative - You take the initiative to learn, embrace change, and seek out new challenges and solutions, never just accepting the status quo (“this is how we have always done it”).

  • Collaborative Team Player - You place high value on teamwork, open and active communication, and the collective success of the Hub team, and your actions support this; if you prefer to work in isolation, you will not be a fit.

  • Detail and Goal-Oriented - You are committed to uncompromising high levels of accuracy and quality while staying focused on achieving project goals.

  • Mentorship Mindset - You enjoy sharing knowledge and explaining complex concepts to others, especially junior developers.

Language(s)
